Decorated Houses and Businesses Winners

Yesterday saw the judging of the Decorated Houses and Businesses take place.

Winning the Community Council Cup for best decorated house was Beltane Queen’s House in Crossland Crescent. Second was Ballantyne in Hydro Gardens, third Lindsay in Kingsland Square and Highly Commended was Sutherland in Kittlegairy Gardens.

The Maharaja’s Shield for best decorated shop/business was won by Head to Toe followed by Herringbone Gifts/No54 and Nourish & Blossom. Tethera Greys was awarded a Highly Commended.

At the recent Annual General Meeting of Peebles March Riding and Beltane Queen Festival, the accounts of the festival showed a five figure loss for the second year running.
