Last night Cornet Elect Jamie and Lass Rebecca along with their supporters, were down the road at Innerleithen for their introduction night.

A nice dry day for the introduction of the Beltane Court today. The Beltane Queen, First Courtier and members of the Court were announced to Primary Six and Seven pupils in the Drill Hall.
It was a busy weekend for the Peebles team; Saturday saw Cornet and Lass Jamie and Caitlin Hamilton riding the Berwick ride out and then last night they were joined by Cornet Elect Jamie and Lass Rebecca for the Berwick Ball.
Peebles March Riding & Beltane Queen Festival were saddened to learn of the passing on Ex-Cornet Colin McEwan at the end of last year. Colin was Cornet in 1967 and was supported by Ex-Cornets George Gilmour and Tom Swanston.
And just like that the festivities begin again!

Nominations are being sought for key positions in this year’s Beltane Festival. The Peebles March Riding & Beltane Queen Festival Committee is seeking nominations for the positions of Cornet, Warden of Neidpath and Crowning Lady.
Tonight Cornet Elect Jamie and his Lass Caitlin were joined by their supporters, together with our Beltane Queen Annie, the Warden of Neidpath Elect Christina Elder, and the Beltane Chairman Lorna Evans, enjoying representing Peebles at the West Linton Installation.
