The Beltane Bunting is now for sale at the Castle Warehouse, Old Town, Peebles in the Soft Furnishing Department.

Street Collectors Needed

The Peebles Beltane Festival running costs are rising and as we have mentioned in a previous post, current expenditure is not sustainable long term. We need collectors to help gather in donations from the gathered public, and these collectors are required for Wednesday 17th, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June.

Beltane Court 2026 Photos

The children of this year's Court had their official photos taken tonight at the Burgh Hall, and the parents and guardians subsequently enjoyed the meet and greet session, and heard all about the plans for dressing and training everyone.

Volunteers and Marshalls Needed

Innerleithen Introduction

Last night Cornet Elect Jamie and Lass Rebecca along with their supporters, were down the road at Innerleithen for their introduction night. Congratulations to all the new principals!

The Introduction of the Beltane Court

A nice dry day for the introduction of the Beltane Court today. The Beltane Queen, First Courtier and members of the Court were announced to Primary Six and Seven pupils in the Drill Hall.

A Successful Coffee Morning

Many thanks to everyone who came along to support our Coffee Morning on Saturday together with all those who donated raffle and tombola prizes and of course the amazing home baking!

Busy in Berwick

It was a busy weekend for the Peebles team; Saturday saw Cornet and Lass Jamie and Caitlin Hamilton riding the Berwick ride out and then last night they were joined by Cornet Elect Jamie and Lass Rebecca for the Berwick Ball.

Beltane Festival Accounts

At the recent Annual General Meeting of Peebles March Riding and Beltane Queen Festival, the accounts of the festival showed a five figure loss for the second year running.

Ian Patterson

Peebles March Riding and Beltane Queen Festival were saddened to learn of the recent passing of Ex-Cornet Ian Patterson. Ian was Cornet in 1962 and was supported by Ex-Cornets William Williamson and Robert Clapperton.
