The Beltane hut will be open this Thursday (25th) from 19:00 to 21:00 to receive borrowed house decorations. (Please note that items should not be left outside outwith these times).

Two weeks tonight we’ll be hoping for a warm and dry start Beltane 2026. Check the Timetable for all the important dates and timings!

The Beltane Bunting is now for sale at the Castle Warehouse, Old Town, Peebles in the Soft Furnishing Department.

At the recent Annual General Meeting of Peebles March Riding and Beltane Queen Festival, the accounts of the festival showed a five figure loss for the second year running.

The committee is hopeful that as many as possible will take part in the decorated shops and houses competitions and turn the town red and white. There are two separate competitions which greatly enhance the town during Beltane. As ever, the Best Decorated Shop or Business will be awarded the Maharaj Kumar Challenge Shield, while the winners of the House Decoration will receive the Community Council Cup.

Are you able to help as a volunteer and/or help with street collections and marshal support? We particularly need support for the Wednesday evening Rideout, the Thursday Novice Ride, and the Saturday Grand Parade.
