Colin McEwan

Peebles March Riding & Beltane Queen Festival were saddened to learn of the passing on Ex-Cornet Colin McEwan at the end of last year. Colin was Cornet in 1967 and was supported by Ex-Cornets George Gilmour and Tom Swanston.

This was the second of two years where the festival was condensed into two days, with the Rideout, Fancy Dress and Dances on the Friday and the Crowning, Grand Procession and Beltane Sports on the Saturday. Our thoughts are with Colin’s wife Jane and family at this time.
