Beltane Duck Race – Result

Perfect weather for ducks, greeted the Beltane Duck Race last night!

The ducks were a bit reluctant to leave the shelter of the Cuddy Bridge but once they got going it was a good race down to Greenside.

The owner of the winning duck, #341 was Drew Lowe, winning £200.

Second Place was duck #1366, owned by Peter Smith, and third was #1236, Sophie Dodds.

Thank you to the committee and friends who turned up to wrangle the ducks down the river and also to Ben, Toru and Lleyton from the Colts who helped out.

Many thanks to all those who bought ducks for the event, your support is very much appreciated.
