Children’s Sports – Tuesday 16th June 2026
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday, 16th June 2026 on a rolling basis to facilitate the procession from the Children’s Sports at Whitestone Park to High Street.
The procession will commence at approx. 2015/2030. These closures will only take place while the procession is passing and come into effect at such times when under the instruction of a police officer in uniform or appropriate signing is in place, and will be maintained by a police officer or marshal.
- Innerleithen Road (A72) from Whitestone Park gates to Eastgate.
- Eastgate (A72)
- Peebles High Street (A72) to School Brae.
In addition, parking Restrictions will be in place for the following roads and we would ask that they are observed to allow the procession to pass safely:
- Innerleithen Road
- Eastgate
- High Street
