Our Annual Patrons Appeal is now live

Every year we are heavily indebted to our Annual Patrons who generously support us in the delivery of the festival.

This year more than ever, public support is essential in Peebles Beltane Festival continuing. Since Covid, our expenses have rocketed and the last two years have seen the festival make five-figure losses.

If you would like to help us by becoming an Annual Patron, please contact us by private messaging our Facebook page or email us using the button below, and we will send you a Patron’s pack.

Thank you.

Happy Lanimers Day to everyone in Lanark!

Happy Lanimers Day to everyone in Lanark! Sending our best wishes to this year’s Lord Cornet, Edward Pringle!

Decorated Shops and Houses

The committee is hopeful that as many as possible will take part in the decorated shops and houses competitions and turn the town red and white. There are two separate competitions which greatly enhance the town during Beltane. As ever, the Best Decorated Shop or Business will be awarded the Maharaj Kumar Challenge Shield, while the winners of the House Decoration will receive the Community Council Cup.

My Beltane Booklet

This year, the committee have introduced a new initiative, where every P3 child at the town’s Primary Schools will receive a booklet to mark their first involvement in the crowning ceremony. We hope they have a fantastic Beltane 2025.

West Linton Installation

Tonight Cornet Elect Jamie and his Lass Caitlin were joined by their supporters, together with our Beltane Queen Annie, the Warden of Neidpath Elect Christina Elder, and the Beltane Chairman Lorna Evans, enjoying representing Peebles at the West Linton Installation.
