Peebles March Riding & Beltane Queen Festival were saddened to learn of the passing on Ex-Cornet Colin McEwan at the end of last year. Colin was Cornet in 1967 and was supported by Ex-Cornets George Gilmour and Tom Swanston.

And just like that the festivities begin again! Here is Cornet Jamie and his Lass Caitlin Hamilton with supporter Rianna Sterricks in Biggar for their introduction night.

Nominations are being sought for key positions in this year’s Beltane Festival. The Peebles March Riding & Beltane Queen Festival Committee is seeking nominations for the positions of Cornet, Warden of Neidpath and Crowning Lady.

Tonight saw Cornet's Lass Caitlin Hamilton with her support Rianna Sterricks taking part in the Galashiels Lindean rideout.
