Road Closures
1. Kingsmeadows Car Park will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday 20th June 2026 between the hours of 05:00 and 13:00.
2. The B7062 Kingsmeadows Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Springhill Road to its junction with Glensax Road between the hours of 10:30 and 11:45 on Saturday 20th June 2026.
Alternative Route
- Eastbound – Eastbound – Springhill Road, Glen Road and Glensax Road to point of closure
- Westbound – the above in reverse.
3. The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 05:00 and 12:00. These closures will only come into effect at such times when under the instruction of a police officer in uniform or appropriate signing is in place.
- Glensax Road – from Kingsmeadows Road to Victoria Park Drive
- Victoria Park Drive to junction with Kingsmuir Crescent
- Kingsmuir Crescent from Victoria Park Drive to Glen Road
4. The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 14:00.
- High Street – from Cuddy Bridge / Tweed Bridge to junction with Eastgate / Northgate.
- Tweed Bridge – from junction with Swimming Pool Brae / Port Brae to junction with High Street / Cuddy Bridge.
- Cuddy Bridge – from junction with High Street / Tweed Bridge to junction with Old Town.
- Northgate – from its junction with Eastgate to its junction with Station Road / Dean Park.
- Eastgate – from its junction with High Street to its junction with Innerleithen Road / Tweed Brae.
Alternative Routes
- Eastbound – Neidpath Road, Young Street, Rosetta Road, March Street, Edinburgh Road, Innerleithen Road to junction Tweed Brae.
- Westbound – Innerleithen Road, Edinburgh Road, March Street, Montgomery Place, Cross Street and Elcho Street Brae to point of closure.
- North and South bound traffic will be diverted via Port Brae, Tweed Green and Tweed Brae.
5. The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 05:00 and 12:30. These closures will only come into effect at such times when under the instruction of a police officer in uniform or appropriate signing is in place.

- Rosetta Road
- Eliots Park
- Connor Street
- Kirkland Street
- March Street
Suspension of One-Way Order
The one-way orders will be suspended on the following roads on the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 14:00
- Port Brae – from Tweed Bridge to Tweed Green
- Tweed Green – from Port Brae to Tweed Brae
Beltane Saturday Morning Ride
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 14:30. These closures will only come into effect at such times when under the instruction of a police officer in uniform or appropriate signing is in place.
- South Park Road
- Edderston Road
- Morning Hill
- Bonnington Road
- Springhill Road
- Glen Road
- Glensax Road
- Kingsmeadows Road
Parking Restrictions
Parking will be prohibited on the following road between the hours of 05:00 and 12:00 on Saturday 20th June 2026.
- Kingsmeadows Road – from Springhill Road to Priorsford Bridge
Parking will be prohibited on the following road between the hours of 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturday 20th June 2026.
- Victoria Park Drive
- Kingsmuir Crescent
Parking will be prohibited on the following roads between the hours of 05:00 and 14:00 on Saturday 20th June 2026.
- Tweed Bridge.
- Old Town – from Cuddy Bridge to Rosetta Road.
- Young Street – from Old Town to Rosetta Road.
- Rosetta Road – from Young Street to Eliots Park junction.
- Kirkland Street – from Rosetta Road to Connor Street.
- March Street – from Rosetta Road to Edinburgh Road.
- Montgomery Place.
- Cross Road – at junction with Montgomery Place.
- Cross Street.
- Elcho Street Brae.
- Walkershaugh
- Northgate – from Eastgate to Dean Park
- Dean Park – from Northgate to Edinburgh Road.
- Innerleithen Road – from Eastgate to Soonhope.
- Eliots Park – On both sides. Only from junction with Rosetta Road to junction with Connor Street
- Connor Street – on west side only
