Notice of Road Closures and Parking Restrictions

Children’s Disco – Monday 15th June 2026

The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on Monday, 15th June 2026 on a rolling basis to facilitate the children’s procession from the Drill Hall (Community Centre) to Tweed Green.

The procession will commence at 21:00.

These closures will only take place while the procession is passing and come into effect at such times when under the instruction of a police officer in uniform or appropriate signing is in place, and will be maintained by a police officer or marshal.

  • Walkershaugh
  • Tweed Brae
  • Eastgate (A72)
  • Peebles High Street (A72)
  • Port Brae (B7062)
  • Tweed Green

In addition, parking Restrictions will be in place for the following roads and we would ask that they are observed to allow the procession to pass safely:

  • Walkershaugh (in front of and opposite Drill Hall)
  • Eastgate
  • High Street
